This one of a kind handmade stainless steel hybrid ballpoint pen is the perfect gift for artists, professionals, graduates, or those who prefer a beautiful and useful pen. This fine writing instrument will be cherished for years to come. No two pens will ever look the same!
The body of the pen is made from a Cloudburst hybrid blank which is handmade in house by me, and the fittings are made of stainless steel. The Cloudburst blanks are made of Alumillite resin & seedpods from the sweetgum tree. All blanks have their own unique characteristics so you will have a one of a kind pen.
This pen has been hand turned by me and hand fitted to the metal fittings. This pen has been checked for comfort and fit before finishing. The pen is then hand sanded to a nice smooth feel, then a hard durable finish is hand applied and polished to a high gloss finish.
I have paid attention to every detail during the production of this unique pen. Each component is hand checked for proper fit and finish before assembly. Once assembled, this beautiful writing implement is given a final hand polish and checked once again to ensure a flawless fit.
The pen features an ultra-reliable, all metal Schmidt SKM-88 click mechanical assembly that is precision-engineered in Germany by Schmidt. Opening the pen to write is done by clicking the button on the end of the pen.
To enhance the writing experience, I have upgraded the ink refill in this pen with an excellent quality Schmidt Easy Flow 9000 Parker Style refill of your choice, of either blue or black ink. Additional refills are available at most office supply stores. Pen will come packaged in a box.
